My Next Step In My Career

As some people may know that I have recently graduated from college! I have been ask ask a question (I'm sure most of you all know what the question is). It was "So what are your plans now that you  graduated college?" Well what I can say, is that I am working on making a ready to wear clothing which is very different from what I usually do. I would like to start my own web page so that consumers are able to contact me, buy, and see what is available.

My ready to wear line for summer 2013 would consist of colors, prints, working with dart manipulation, details, and different body types. I style that I am interested on working with are the 50's style with a modern twist of my views.

I was always into the history of fashion but mixing it with a modern twist in to my style views. Like we say fashion always repeats it's self one way or another. Here are some images of what I like and what  I feel my garments would incorporate.

I would be posting up my progress of my garments and as well as the final garment. As well as fabric I that i had used.

2013 Fashion Illustration Portfolio pages

My portfolio pages!!! My fashion illustrations from hand painting with acrylic and adobe illustrator. I rather work with paint for my final illustrations. As for my flats I like to work with adobe because I like the clean look of it. My illustration flows with my garments with a clean, fancy, classy and a rich look.

This year my collection was inspired by my trip to Italy over the summer of 2012. Italian clothing is very clean, high end, rich look to them and stylish. I had taken what I  knew about Italian clothing and compared it to one of my favorite designers Valentino. Some may know Valentino for always using red in his couture line. Like Valentino I had also chose red but in different shades, textures and fabric.  The garments you will see are formal, red-carpet and ballroom gowns. As well as a tailored men and children wear.
